Money Sites-Day 3

When Jason Drohn's  Money Sites Lab went away towards the end of 2013
it was replaced with Leveling Up Academy which all Money Sites members
were given free access to. I had forgot about it since I have moved on to a
new program of study. If you go to the Leveling Up Academy site it looks
very nice.  Looks like there is a lot of information. As I mentioned I am a
member. I just watched the "What Are Money Sites" video in which Jason
explained that Money sites are sites that make money day and night. I can
tell from personal experience and from what I gathered from others that
almost nobody made any money from these "Money Sites" that Jason taught
us how to make. Many members put in countless hours and money and did
not make a dime. Jason always seemed to suggest  that there were
members making very good money with these sites. When Jason would
be ask if maybe these individuals would be willing to share with the
rest of us some of their insights he was never able to produce them. 

The Leveling Up Academy site says you can sign up as a free member. I just
created a fictitious to see if that was true. I received my welcome email from
Jason Drohn so that parts works. As I said the site looks very professional
and looks like there is good information so it might work for someone
who wanted some free information although I have no doubt that Jason
will try to sell you something on down the line. In my humble opinion I
would be very careful in getting  involved with Jason Drohn or parting
with hard earned money based on anything he says. 

I do not like writing negative things about individuals but I feel I must speak up.

Continuing with the 7 Day Turbo Start course this video module is titled "Article Action Strategy".

I am somewhat familiar with this strategy which involves writing an article and than either placing it on your website or submitting it to a article directory such as EzineArticles. This has in fact been my avenue for trying to create additional online. Personally for me it has been a miserable failure. Generally I submit an article to EzineArticles and point it to a Squidoo lens which has my ClickBank affiliate link in the lens. How much of a miserable failure had it been?  In 2012  I received 5 checks from ClickBank for a grand total of $157.74. In fact what happens most of the time is that when I make a sale by the time my next sale is generated my ClickBank account has been reduced to $0 because of inactivity fees.  Something has gotta change.

On a couple of other notes. The lab call I mentioned yesterday had already taken place so I am not for sure if I received the wrong email or what happened.

Received another "bonus" from Travis Sago. His personal email where I can ask him a question or submit my site for him to review. Thank you Travis.

Read the report titled "Keyword Sniper". 24 pages. I am going to read through it again tonight. Very good report. Shows how to use the Google Keyword Tool and Market Samurai to find keywords for Money Sites. As the introduction to the report states "This report is will walk you through picking low competition, high traffic, HIGHLY PROFITABLE keywords. You can use these strategies in any niche, in any category, to promote any product or service".

At the end of the report is a link to the course "Page Hijack". Looks like a rather lengthy course. I want to be careful and not get confused by having to many course's going at once.

After giving it some thought I believe I will not reread Keyword Sniper but move on to the next report.

Once I am done with the 7 Day Turbo Start course than I might come back to Keyword Sniper reread it and than go through the Page Hijack course. Does that make sense?

Money Sites Lab-Day 2

May 2nd, 2014: While I realize it has been over a year since I wrote the post
below something that always jumped out at me was how arrogant Jason Drohn
 seemed with regard to Google and how he had the ability to trick them into
ranking his sites. I will be the first to admit I am not a Google expert. I have
read about privacy concerns regarding them and other issues but many times
I have been able to find answers to questions or problems by using Google.
Youtube has been fantastic in this regard. Many of his sites Jason Drohn used
as examples were in my opinion poorly put together and the information not
helpful at all. In my humble opinion they were put together to rank for
certain keywords with little thought given to the end user.


January 28th 6:19pm

Received an email from Jason instructing me to click a link and began my first lesson. Clicked the link and it brought me to the welcome video which I had already watched. Jason also mentioned a Labs coaching call for tomorrow which I imagine is pretty important so will try not to miss that.

Also received a email from Travis along with some bonus's which I have not checked out.

Am now going to watch the second video in the 7 Day Turbo Start video series which is titled
"Getting Started".

Watched 16 minute video. Jason stressed using Clickbank when looking for something to promote. Also mentioned Amazon and Commission Junction (CJ) but really suggested getting started with Clickbank.

Jason said to find something I am interested in, search for a domain name, register it, get hosting than write a review and put it on your site along with affiliate link from CB. Said it was important to not promote anything with a "gravity" of under 20.

I will head over to CB and see if I can find something to promote.

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of things to promote at CB. I am not going to jump into this until I have some more direction as to what to go with.

One of the things promised in the Money Sites sales letter was:

SURE-BET Money Keywords that will generate loads of affiliate income. (We've already done all the keyword research, and we'll give them to you! You just build the money sites to go with them.)

I know that one of the things many people struggle with is finding the right keyword so I am going to wait until I receive some of these "Money Keywords".

I finished reading the report "Retargeting Sniper". If I understand this correctly you put a code on your site and then when visitors leave your site whatever you want to promote sort of follows them around the web.

I have noticed this lately in my own internet activity. As an example and I am not sure of this but if I search for something on Amazon and than later check my Yahoo mail account or go to Accuweather an ad for what I was searching for on Amazon is shown. I am not passing judgement but it all sound kind of creepy. Not sure I want to subject my visitors to that but then again I don't think that will be a problem because I don't  have any visitors:-)

One of the first things brought up in the report is that for this to work you need a "site that is getting traffic" which leaves me out at least for the time being.

I am going to pass on this method for now and move on to the next report which is entitled
Keyword Sniper.

Money Sites Lab With Travis Sago and Jason Drohn

April 25, 2014: I have decided to publish the 50 + posts I wrote as I chronicled
my journey to make money online using Jason Drohn's methods. While it may
only be of interest to me my hope is that if any one stumbles upon this blog
they can learn from it. Please leave a comment if you have something 
interesting to share regarding the subject matter. Thank You.

This post is being written on January 24, 2013.

Last night I enrolled in the Money Sites system.

My plan is to not publish any of these post till 60 days have past. That will give me about 2 months to see if the promises these guys have made and my commitment to put into practice what is taught in the Money Sites Lab  have catapulted me to a decent source of income or resulted in making Travis and Jason $1000 richer and me poorer both in time and money.

The cost for each months membership in Money Sites is $497 with the promise that if after 2 months I am not making at least $500 a month each subsequent month is free until I reach the $500 thresh hold.

I have no illusions about this being a simple path to additional income. I plan to treat this as a semester of online college course work with my graduation date being May 31. By the end of the course my goal is to have the necessary skills and knowledge to implement a plan by which I am making an additional $500 by the end of June with an additional $500 being added each subsequent month. If this works out as I plan the month of December 2013 will end with  income for that month of $3500.

I will then re evaluate my course of action for 2014 and beyond.

A couple of points give me hope that this can be accomplished.

I am of average intelligence and  am committed to a course of study that will give me the greatest chance of success. I intend to follow the plan outlined and learn each section thoroughly before moving onto the next section. My entire focus will be on the Money Sites course with no thought of moving on to something else until and when I have mastered the material provided.

I believe that Travis Sago, Jason Drohn and the rest are honest people who are successful in their own right and are willing to share this knowledge with me. I believe they want me to succeed and will do what they can to help me create income once they see me making a serious effort to put what they teach into practice.

From the start this blog is intended to help me succeed by giving me a place to keep track of my progress and keep me on task.

If however I do decide to publish this blog it is my hope that if anyone stumbles across it they will find it helpful in someway as they began their own quest to create income.
